Salary Compensation
Novonics offers competitive salaries consistent with employee responsibilities, performance
and contributions to the Company's goals. Salaries are reviewed annually based upon these
factors and current industry conditions.
Incentive Compensation
Novonics recognizes the importance of individual efforts and contributions to the team’s success.
Accordingly, the company provides additional compensation in the form of cash awards to employees
for noteworthy contributions to the continuing success of the company and the accomplishment
of its goals.
Novonics 401(k) Plan
To encourage saving for the future, Novonics offers a 401(k) Tax-Deferred Retirement Savings
Plan under which employees can elect to contribute an IRS-limited portion of their compensation
to the plan. As an additional benefit, the company makes discretionary contributions on behalf
of each participant. Company contributions are subject to change but currently are 4% of the
individual’s compensation. Vesting in the company’s contributions is phased in over five years
of continuous service.
ESOP
Novonics provides an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, the purpose of which is to enable participating
employees to share in the growth and prosperity of Novonics, accumulate capital for their
future economic security, and acquire stock ownership interests in the company. All contributions
to the ESOP are made by the company. Participation in the ESOP has a waiting period, and allocations
to participants are subject to minimum hours of service in any Plan Year.
Educational Reimbursement
To encourage professional and personal growth and development, the company will reimburse
an employee for up to $4,000 per year of costs incurred in pursuing an approved degree, certificate
or other educational program related to the employee’s position. Educational programs must
be approved in advance.
Medical Insurance
Two medical plan options – HRA or PPO – are available. Novonics pays a portion of the cost
of Medical insurance premiums for the employee and eligible dependents.
Dental Insurance
Novonics pays the cost for the employee’s Dental Insurance premiums. Employee pays for their
dependent’s portion of the Dental premium costs.
Short Term Disability Insurance
Novonics pays the cost of short-term disability insurance premiums for all active full-time
employees.
Long Term Disability Insurance
Novonics pays the cost of long-term disability insurance premiums for all active full-time
employees.
Basic Life Insurance/AD&D
Novonics pays the premium for a $50,000 life and matching AD&D insurance policy for all active
full-time employees.
Cafeteria Plan
Novonics offers optional flexible spending accounts which allow the employee to pay out-of-pocket
health care expenses and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
Holidays and Personal Leave
Full-time employees receive 10 paid holidays and accrue 120 hours of personal leave (vacation
& sick) per year (increasing to 160 hours after the employee’s third year).
